HEY, YOU: KYOU Radio (legally KYCY at 1550 AM), with its mix of podcasts and financial advice shows, may not have many listeners (the Oakland A's broadcasts will help), but it's got its believers -- especially radio pros and musicians getting a chance at a regular show. Jon Hammond at NAMM Hammond Suzuki USA Stand with Joe Berger
The great Jon Hammond and Joe Berger played a "Mini-Concert" at our booth during the recent NAMM Expo in Anaheim California. Jon, seen here playing the XK Pro system swung like a beast as always, and Joe's nimble chops showed that the G27 Guitar Leslie makes a fine Jazz Guitar amp. The crowd that gathered bopped and boogied to the groove-who needed a drummer? Not these guys!! Classic Hammond Organ Jazz is thing of beauty and a joy forever, Thanks to Jon and Joe for a fine performance!
International Hammond-Suzuki Jazz Artist JON HAMMOND recently stopped by Hammond-Suzuki USA HQ during his visit to Chicago. After a tour of the factory and offices given by Senior V.P. Dennis Capiga, Jon gave the A-405 and new Mini-B a workout in the showroom. Jon's swinging style was just the thing to cool off a hot summer day. HAMMOND ARTIST JON HAMMOND AT MUSIKMESSE For 24 years, jazz organist
Jon Hammond has brought a touch of New York soul to the Musikmesse Trade show in Frankfurt, Germany with an all-star band. This year was no exception, and joining Jon and his Hammond XK-1 on the stand was Giovanni Gulino on drums, Tony Lakatos on tenor saxophone, and Jon's long-time guitarist Joe Berger. The event was the Musikmesse Warm Up Party at the Jazzkeller in Frankfurt. Here are a couple of videos from the date. We think they got it wrong--this ain't "Warm", it's RED HOT!!
