Hammond Report May 22 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing my song "Soon I Will Be Free" in a summer concert in Jazzkeller - I wrote this tune in San Francisco when I returned from living in Europe, part of the songs for my 2nd album "Hammond's Bolero" I was playing a string of gigs at the SF County Jail, I dedicated this song to the incarcerated - one time while riding on the 38 Geary Bus a young lady tapped me on the shoulder, she said "Thanks for coming to play for us in County Jail" she was doing a lot better and free! I see the Swiss Counsulate when I'm at my favorite spot China Beach on the ocean side of Golden Gate Bridge - I played in Switzerland many times - it says on a sign #dreamnowtravellater - have a beautiful weekend folks, come back tomorrow for another Hammond Report,
