C'mon down bright and early to Arena Plaza Stage entrance for our kickoff concert 2023 NAMM Show 9:45AM sharp this Thursday April 13th! Mark 'Stage Dad' Magill making big announcement of badass condenser mic, weather man says NO RAIN, green-to-go for Jon Hammond Funk Unit!
We'll be having fun soundchecking earlier, on the band: Leslie J. Carter aka Chuggy Carter congas + percussion, Nic Kubes drums, welcoming first time on the band - of course Joe Berger aka 'The Berger-Meister' guitar, he'll be playing the famous TV Jones pickup tester guitar as seen with Joe in Nashville hits we did - my longtime friend since kindergarten and bandmate Marc Baum tenor saxophonist always plays beautiful on his good old Selmer MKVI tenor - I believe we will have a very special guest TBA at the gig folks! Yours truly Jon Hammond I'll be playing my well-traveled Sk1 Hammond organ - we're going to have a funky good time, great California weather, Tony Mirador mixing Akroz Professional stage team Odie de la Fuente NAMM friends and a whole lotta' companies have returned to exhibit for the International Music Community, big big honor to kick it off - c u there!
