 Behind these doors a lot of things happened! Spielbudenplatz 24 my friend Claus-Dieter Rotthoff came one night to my late night gig and told me this place used to be a circus at the turn of the century with dirt floors, horse and all kinds of animals - non-stop entertainment on the world-famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany Sankt Pauli, Hamburg, Germany - now it is part of Schmidts Schmidt Theater & Schmidts Tivoli - I met a lot of really interesting people on the Reeperbahn when I was living in Hamburg! Hammond Report March 13 2022 From Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from Jon Hammond the organ player & accordionist, today's music story is about a live radio broadcast gig I played in Hamburg Germany from a club called "Music Club Live" Fruchtallee 36 across from the big VW dealer, it was hosted by Ralf Böcker on 96.0 "The Tide" Jazzhaus radio - on the band Frank Delle t.s., Sandra Hempel g., Heinz Lichius d. and yours truly Jon Hammond o. - I brought my big Hammond XK-3 organ in a heavy flight case to Hamburg that time because I had just recorded my 3rd album in NDR.de Hamburg in the famous Studio 1 "NDR SESSIONS Projekt" - I played this gig just before I split the next day. I'll be back tomorrow folks,
